MAST BUILDING & SPAR REPAIRS

All fittings are fibre-glassed underneath to waterproof.

Fibreglassing in progress

Fibreglassed tube where bolt goes through mast. Water cannot penetrate.

Finally, the sheave is installed.

Mainmast repairs

First primer coat of Awlwood varnish on new bowsprit.

Refurbished mast and boom fittings with primer.

Mizzen crane under construction and installed with fibreglass under to waterproof.

WOODWORK

Repairing damage from mizzen mast fall.

Repairing bulwark damage from mizzen mast fall.

This is a get-in-get-after-it job.

Accessing bolts to remove damaged planking.

PAINT

Restoring bilge corrosion damage

We’re getting there.

NEW STERN POST.

Engineering and woodwork combined.

Layer by layer the new stern post comes together.

Where the new stern post meets the rabbit line.

50 inches of new solid timber.
